Zambia Cricket Union and SriYentra Sports Services LLC signed a five-year rights agreement carrying a right of first refusal. It is the relationship that brought a Dubai holding company to Lusaka, and the demand signal behind everything this company wants to build here.
Each holds a multi-year rights agreement with SriYentra Sports Services LLC. The terms below are the agreed durations, not a statement that any season has been scheduled.

ESA T20 is a professional Twenty20 franchise league operated by SriYentra Sports Services LLC of Dubai. It was built with three ICC Associate Member boards rather than around a single host nation: the Zambia Cricket Union, the Rwanda Cricket Association and Cricket Malawi.
As far as the founders are aware, it is the first instance of three Associate Member boards jointly launching one franchise league. Rwanda and Malawi signed ten-year rights agreements. Zambia's agreement runs for five years and carries a right of first refusal.
Season One is planned for the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda, in July 2027. That window remains subject to final ICC date sanctioning approval, and the league publishes nothing as confirmed until it is.
Across the three countries the league addresses a combined population of more than 58 million people, in markets where cricket has an established following and almost no professional domestic structure to absorb it.

Franchise marks are the property of the league and its franchise owners.
SriYentra Investments Zambia Limited does not own the league and holds no rights under the ESA T20 agreements. Its interest is in what a league of this kind requires on the ground, in the country where it plays.

Teams, officials, broadcast crews and travelling supporters need rooms, coaches and reliable roads. A fixture list is demand visible months in advance, and it lands on the same hotels and operators that serve the safari season.
Broadcast-grade connectivity and dependable power at the ground. In a market where load-shedding is a live risk, that is a capital project with a contracted counterparty attached to it.
These are opportunities the company is examining, not commitments it has made. Any transaction involving ESA T20 or another SriYentra Group entity would be conducted on arm's-length terms and disclosed as a related-party dealing.

The same reasoning runs through the Group's education company in India, its sports company in Dubai and its tokenisation platform in Abu Dhabi. Cricket in Zambia is one expression of it, and the reason a Dubai holding company ended up registering an entity in Lusaka.
Ground operators, contractors, hotel groups and service providers around the Zambian game are welcome to introduce themselves.
